Description

The Monarch Super Powerchair is a substantial mid-wheel drive model for customers who want comfort, manoeuvrability and longer everyday range. Its 53cm turning radius helps it navigate indoor spaces, while full front and rear suspension supports a smoother ride outdoors.

Comfort and control
The scooter-style captain's seat provides a supportive 51cm-wide by 54cm-deep seating area. A simple joystick controls the 575W drive system at up to 4mph, and electromagnetic braking helps bring the chair to a controlled stop. An optional powered seat lift is available; ask us about the configuration and price before ordering.

Range and suitability
Two 55Ah lead-acid batteries give a manufacturer-rated range of up to 25 miles, subject to user weight, terrain and conditions. The chair carries up to 205kg (about 32 stone) and weighs 114kg with batteries. It does not fold and Monarch does not list it as suitable for air, coach or cruise travel, so consider storage, access and vehicle transport when choosing it.
