Description

The Monarch Ezi-Fold Carbon is a lightweight, manually folding powerchair for everyday outings and travel. Its carbon fibre frame weighs 12.7kg without the battery, while the complete chair weighs 18kg. It supports users up to 150kg (23.6 stone) and folds to 96.5 × 33 × 96.5cm for storage at home or transport in a suitable vehicle.

Control and confidence
The digital joystick offers precise manoeuvring and includes a downward-facing pathway light to help illuminate the ground in low light. Twin 200W motors provide a top speed of 4mph, with electromagnetic braking, solid tyres and rear anti-tip wheels for reassuring everyday control. An attendant control is included for a companion, and the chair can switch between powered and manual modes.

Comfort and practicality
A cushioned 46cm-wide by 42cm-deep seat, folding armrests and folding footrests make the chair comfortable and convenient to use. The 74cm turning radius helps when navigating tighter spaces. Its compact manual fold makes it a practical choice for car journeys, days out and holidays.

Battery and travel
The 10Ah lithium battery offers up to 7.5 miles of range per charge. Actual range depends on factors such as terrain, user weight and conditions. Monarch describes the chair as air, coach and cruise friendly; always check the individual operator's battery and carriage requirements before travelling.

Available in Black with Red trim. Contact Mobile Mobility Solutions if you would like advice on whether the Ezi-Fold Carbon is suitable for you or to arrange a demonstration.
