Description

The Monarch Carbon Flyer pairs a light carbon fibre frame with a compact manual fold for travel, days out and everyday mobility. It weighs 11kg without the battery and 12.6kg complete, and folds to 73 × 32 × 68cm for transport in a suitable car. The maximum user weight is 101kg (16 stone).

Comfort and handling
The padded 42cm-wide seat includes an integrated seatbelt. Adjustable armrests and footrests help tailor the seating position, while the intuitive joystick and twin 250W motors provide responsive control at up to 4mph. Disc brakes and a 78cm turning radius support confident manoeuvring indoors and out. This model does not include attendant control.

Battery and travel
Its 10Ah lithium battery is rated for up to 9 miles per charge; actual range varies with terrain, user weight and conditions. Monarch lists the Carbon Flyer as air, coach and cruise friendly. Check your operator's battery and carriage rules before travelling.
